MetroSport 2024

The Student Union of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences METKA will organize the largest student sports and well-being event in Finland MetroSport Helsinki Olympic Stadium on Wednesday 18.9.2024 at 13-17. METKA wants to promote physical activity and well-being among students. The event also aims to introduce students and Metropolia staff to the physical activity opportunities in the metropolitan area and to provide students with an alcohol-free alternative among student events.

MetroSport brings together Metropolia’s students and staff members for a fun and varied range of sports and wellness activities. Visitors of the 14th edition of the event will be able to explore a wide range of sports at the Olympic Stadium, from bubble football to pole dancing and from blind table tennis to judo. There will also be actors focused on mental well-being. The event is free of charge and around 5000 visitors are expected at the stadium. MetroSport has been organized by students since 2001, first as StadiaSport and then as MetroSport.
